Cheers to Water!

So I was catching up with my blogs and found this amazing post on Lauren Conrad's Blog on water. In it, she includes an awesome article on a woman that takes on the challenge if drinking 3 liters of water a day for 28 days and winds up looking at least 10 years younger. Wow. Read the article. I don't care if it makeup, or lighting, or whatever. Her face is different- plump- youthful. Even if makeup has been applied.

Water just helps with everything:
-headaches
-constipation
-smoother skin
-breakouts
-allergies
-joints
-muscular cramps

And more...

As I have mentioned a million times, I have been in this transitional period in my life. Part of this period included leaving behind medications and just completely changing my fitness and nutrition. No matter how amazing the change, any kind if change to your body affects your hormones drastically and I've been seeing it in my skin, my nails,  and breakouts that I never had. I need to flush toxins out. ASAP.

I know I've been slacking on water and since I know how beneficial water really is to your skin, I am taking this challenge on. I will be checking in Mid-August to let you know how it is going, but be sure if any slipups happen I will include those too.

Have any tips on how to consume more water?

The water bottle is from zazzle.com. Cute, right?

Nidia

  1. I try to drink 2L per day and find it quite challenging sometimes...3L is a lot! I am sure your skin will look amazing though!

  2. I struggle with drinking enough water also. I posted about some fun water bottles last week that make it so much easier!

  3. That "Chug Life" water bottle is so funny! My beverage of choice is definitely water, but there's no way I consume 3L. a day. Sometimes I go through phases where I'm very diligent about my water drinking, but recently coffee & tea have been taking over (might have to do with the fact that it's winter here). I definitely need to start drinking more water again! Can't wait to see how your challenge goes! xx

  4. It's not as bad as I originally had though it would be! Coffee and tea in the winter is necessary for survival! Lol Thanks so much for the comment! Hope you get to drink more water, too. :)
