Apples & Bananas: Juice Beauty's Green Apple Peel for Sensitive Skin

Recently I was on vacation, and as per my usual, I packed my OneTruffle bag up with samples. At the resort, I found this little jar of apples and because my skin was going bananas, I found it only appropriate to try out the Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel for Sensitive Skin. (Hence, the clever title referencing my favorite childhood song, Apples & Bananas.) What... (Chelsea Handler Pause here) An experience.
Kiss of Death or Kiss of Approval? Let's do this.

I find that vacation is best for unwinding... and for using samples. Nothing beats trying something and not liking it how your skin or hair is looking if you're around strangers or falling in love with it in paradise! Win-win! (No samples on business trips, though... Ain't nobody got time for that).
And thank goodness for Birchbox - all of the little samples that are leftover each month, the ones I didn't eat (the subscription can include gourmet snacks at times... I'm not bath salts crazy, yet...haha) or aren't color items, I collect in a drawer.

Kiss of Death/Approval: Approval !

How it feels: Love being surprise by this stuff. you put it on for a good 10-15 minutes and rinse it off. It tingles... AND TASTES LIKE APPLES! (Yeah, I accidentally licked my face). When you rinse it off, your fave feels tighter, smoother, pores are less visible and your skin just drinks moisturizer in the right way.

How it worked: I love how my skin looked the next morning, like a glow. I mean I was at the beach, so I had a minor glow going on, even though I avoid the sun like a plague. Nonetheless, this glow was different. It was of healthy skin.

Suggestions/Final Thoughts: Whenever you exfoliate, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. In fact, hydrate right now. Feel oily? Hydrate. Confused? Hydrate. Talking to your kid? Hydrate. Dry? Hydrate. Both with moisturizer and with water. Hydration is the key to minimizing fine lines and wrinkles (plump skin is hydrated, not hydrated skin has room = more fine lines- so hydrate!)...

But I digress. This did dry me out a bit. It didn't dry me out enough to discontinue the use, but I hydrated like it was my job (it is my job). The best part was that I felt my skin absorbed the moisturizer better (duh, the dead skin was gone... Well, supposedly). If you have sensitive skin, this is still very effective. It doesn't hurt that it is organic as well. Seems like a winner.

If you are interested in Birchbox, it is a $10 monthly beauty subscription service. Clicking that link gives me points that I intend to use to get items for giveaways on this blog (I think that's pretty rad).  Birchbox is not an affiliate, nor is this sponsored, related, or known probably, by them in anyway.
